Andhra Pradesh has launched a major administrative reshuffle by transferring 29 IAS officers to fresh roles. The objective is to enhance governance and bring new energy in key departments. Among the high‑profile moves, S. Nagalakshmi has been appointed Managing Director of AP Genco, taking charge of the state’s power utility. Meanwhile, Mallarapu Naveen moves as Joint Collector of Krishna district and Mogili Venkateswarlu as Joint Collector of Nellore.

Other notable postings include Ambedkar as Inspector General (Stamps & Registration) and Chamakuri Sridhar as Director of Prohibition & Excise. Amilineni Bhargav Teja becomes Additional Commissioner of Urban Development, and Katta Simhachalam is named CEO of the State Khadi Board. P. Prashanthi will oversee Rehabilitation & Resettlement, while A. Mallikarjuna is assigned as Secretary in the State Election Commission.

Chief Secretary K. S. Vijayanand has stated that separate transfer orders will be issued soon to fill the vacancies created by this reshuffle. This administrative rearrangement is expected to streamline functions, strengthen governance, and bring fresh leadership in crucial departments across Andhra Pradesh.
