SRM University‑AP is organising the inaugural Amaravati Literature Festival from 22 to 24 October 2025 in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The three‑day festival will open with a keynote by prominent writers and feature discussions, book launches, poetry sessions, and creative workshops. The event invites authors, poets, translators and artists to engage in both English and Telugu languages.

Beyond traditional literary gatherings, the festival will include craft exhibitions, art installations and cultural performances to create a broad community experience. SRM University‑AP says the celebration is designed to spotlight “new voices — new stories” while encouraging active participation from students and local audiences. Workshops will enable emerging writers to hone their craft, while panel talks will explore themes of literature, culture and urban identity as Amaravati develops into a vibrant region.

The festival marks a step in the university’s efforts to blend campus life with civic culture and build a regional platform for readers and creators alike. By opening the doors widely to literature lovers, the event aims to foster a reading culture and provide space for dialogue and creativity in the heart of Andhra Pradesh.
