The Telangana Forest Development Corporation Limited (TGFDCL) has started a new eco-tourism experience called “The Breeze” at Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad, Telangana. This initiative comes under TGFDCL’s Deccan Woods & Trails brand and aims to promote sustainable and responsible tourism in the forested area.
At Ananthagiri Hills, known for its dense forests and rich biodiversity near Hyderabad, The Breeze provides visitors with a mix of comfort and nature exploration. The project includes luxury tent stays, where guests enjoy modern amenities without harming the environment. The eco-tourism packages also feature guided nature walks, bird-watching sessions, treks, and safaris, along with scenic views of sunrise and sunset from hill viewpoints.
The program is fully guided and operates with limited visitor capacity to protect the forest and maintain ecological balance. Local youth and tribal communities are engaged in the project, offering them job opportunities in hospitality, guiding and guest support.
By blending tourism with conservation, TGFDCL wants to boost eco-friendly travel in Telangana while encouraging environmental awareness. The project gives travellers a chance to connect deeply with nature and enjoy Ananthagiri Hills’ scenic beauty in a responsible way.
