Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declared the establishment of a #GreenHydrogenValley in #Amaravati during the Green Hydrogen Summit‑2025 hosted at SRM University‑AP. This flagship initiative is part of the state’s #IntegratedCleanEnergyPolicy2024, which targets ₹10 lakh crore in green energy investments and aims to create 7.5 lakh jobs across green hydrogen and related sectors. Under the #SwarnaAndhraVision2047, the valley will serve as a hub for clean hydrogen production, storage, and downstream industries, bolstered by renewable power generation and coastal export infrastructure.
The summit gathered industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers to drive innovation, commercialization, and policy frameworks in the hydrogen ecosystem. Andhra Pradesh also inaugurated India’s pioneering green hydrogen blending plant in Tirupati, blending hydrogen with PNG/LPG for industrial applications and setting a benchmark for industrial decarbonization. By combining advanced electrolyser manufacturing, hydrogen-powered mobility, and export-ready infrastructure, AP is charting a path to become a global leader in the #greenhydrogensector. The state’s strategic vision encompasses energy security, emissions reduction, and sustainable industrial growth.
