The Andhra Pradesh cabinet, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has endorsed a comprehensive investment initiative worth around ₹80,000 crore. Key highlights include approval to move forward with the Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada metro rail projects, with tendering launched for the Vizag metro and in‑principle approval granted for Vijayawada’s two corridors.

The cabinet also endorsed the AP Electronics Components Manufacturing Policy 4.0 (2025–2030), aimed at attracting high-value investments in the electronics sector by providing advance and matching incentives, plug‑and‑play facilities, and interim support services. Strategic land allotments were made: Phenom People will invest ₹200 crore in Vizag creating 2,500 jobs; SIFY Infinite Spaces received acreage for a ₹16,466 crore data‑centre project expected to employ 600 people; Sattva Developers got 30 acres for a ₹15,000 crore project, aiming to generate 25,000

These initiatives are projected to create up to 1.5 lakh jobs, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a preferred destination for electronic manufacturing, data processing, and smart urban infrastructure. The mega push reinforces the state’s strategy to attract global investments, expand industrial infrastructure, and develop Visakhapatnam as a strategic data and tech hub.
