Apple is preparing to reveal its much-awaited iPhone 17 series at the “Awe Dropping” event scheduled for September 9, 2025, live from Apple Park. The new lineup includes four models: iPhone 17, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
A major highlight of this update is the introduction of ProMotion 120 Hz OLED displays across all models, delivering smoother motion and enhanced visual quality Apple is shifting from titanium to a lighter aluminum frame for the Pro variants, offering improved ergonomics and thermal efficiency.
The lineup is powered by next-generation A19 and A19 Pro chipsets, supported by up to 12 GB RAM on Pro models, promising a substantial performance boost. Camera upgrades include high-resolution 48 MP rear systems, a 24 MP front-facing shooter, and advanced features like dual video capture and periscopic zoom.
In India, prices are rumored to start from around ₹89,900 for the standard model, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max possibly exceeding ₹1.64 lakh Pre-orders may start on September 12, with general sales expected by September 19.This major refresh showcases Apple’s continued push in design excellence, display innovation, and performance enhancements.
