A fire broke out this morning at the Adarsh Automobile Suzuki showroom service centre in Attapur, Hyderabad. Flames started in the scrap storage area of the service centre and quickly spread. Three cars parked inside were damaged by the fire.
Local residents saw smoke and alerted authorities. Firefighters rushed to the scene with two fire tenders and brought the blaze under control before it could spread further. Around 50 vehicles were parked inside the centre when the fire began.
As a safety step, police evacuated about 90 families living near the showroom to ensure no one was harmed by the smoke or flames. Residents said the fire may have started due to negligence by the showroom management, but this claim is still being checked.
The Attapur police have registered a case. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to find the exact cause of the fire. So far, no serious injuries have been reported. Fire and police officials say their quick action likely prevented a larger accident in the busy commercial area.
