Andhra Pradesh is pushing for more jobs in the AVGC-XR sector, says Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) CEO Dhatri Reddy. The animation, VFX, gaming and extended reality (XR) fields are part of one of the fastest-growing creative tech industries. These areas include 3D design, virtual reality, and digital storytelling.
RTIH and the Andhra Pradesh Visual Arts, Graphics & Animation Guild Association (APVAGA) are working together to give students and young creators hands-on training. The goal is to build strong skills and connect learners with real companies. As part of this effort, a three-day bootcamp is underway. Students can learn new tools, improve their talent, and explore ways to start their own creative tech projects.
Reddy says the state must help young people stay ready for work in this fast-changing field. With demand rising for animation, gaming, VFX and XR jobs, Andhra Pradesh can become a hub for future technologies and creative careers. Many students now have a chance to join the digital economy and become job creators instead of job seekers.
