In anticipation of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s upcoming tour in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh’s Director General of Police has mandated the rigorous enforcement of existing security protocols. This follows a comprehensive risk assessment conducted under “Operation Sindoor.” While no additional personnel will be deployed, authorities have emphasized zero‑tolerance towards any lapse in security.

The DGP instructed district superintendents to ensure every element of the current security framework is strictly adhered to, including route reconnaissance, vehicle checks, and VIP protection guidelines. This heightened vigilance covers all aspects—from convoy movement to public event coordination. The Chief Minister himself has endorsed the directive, urging officials to prioritize both safety and minimal disruption for party workers and the public.

Analysts note that these measures reflect continued concern over potential threats and underscore the administration’s focus on law and order. As a high-profile Z‑Plus category VIP, CM Naidu travels with established protection layers involving National Security Guard (NSG), Special Security Group (SSG), and local forces. The current enforcement push aims to reinforce this setup without expanding manpower, relying instead on precise implementation across the board. Guntur’s security apparatus is now on alert, ensuring that every official appearance by the Chief Minister is managed under strict compliance with state security standards.
