The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has announced a new overseas placement initiative that opens doors for trained electricians from the state to work in Germany. Under this scheme, candidates who are certified industrial electricians or hold relevant technical credentials will undergo specialised training, tailored to meet international standards.
Once they complete the training and meet eligibility requirements, they will be eligible for placement support and job opportunities in German firms facing a skills gap. This global employment push reflects APSSDC’s aim to integrate Andhra Pradesh’s youth into the international workforce and enhance their income prospects.
The programme also serves as part of the broader strategy to improve skill development infrastructure and global mobility for Indian workers. Interested candidates are invited to register through the official APSSDC portal, complete any required training modules, and prepare for placement interviews. By enabling overseas placements in Germany, the state government expects to create more pathways for economic advancement and support young technical professionals in rewriting their career trajectories.
