On August 9 in Panaji, Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated the 14th Goa Marathi Film Festival, a vibrant two-day celebration showcasing over 20 Marathi films—including several premieres—at INOX Panaji and Maquinez Palace. Organized by the Vinson Group, the festival aims to elevate Marathi cinema’s visibility and nurture a stronger regional film ecosystem.
As part of the ceremony, CM Sawant presented the Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 to veteran actor Dr. Mohan Agashe, recognizing his enduring impact on theatre and cinema.
