Hyderabad Women’s Cricket Squad Announced — Mamta Named Captain for BCCI T20

The Hyderabad senior women’s cricket team has unveiled its squad for the upcoming BCCI T20 Championship, which begins on October 8 in Gwalior. M. Mamta, a wicketkeeper‑batter, has been appointed captain to lead the 14‑member side.

The squad comprises both established and rising talents. Members include M. Sakshi Rao, G. Trisha, E. Srujana, V.M. Kavya, S. Yashasri, Kesari Drithi, Vanka Tooja, K. Nidhi (second wicketkeeper), K. Neetisha, K. Srivalli, K. Vaishnavi Yadav, Prathiksha Venkatesh, and D. Pranja.

Hyderabad has also named five standby players: K. Tejaswini, Trisha Poojitha, P. Parvathi, Jazmine Gill, and T. Chandana. These players will be ready to step in if needed during the tournament.

The selection reflects the state association’s aim to balance experience and youth. With Mamta at the helm, the team looks forward to delivering strong performances in the national competition.
