Hyundai Motor India delivered a standout monthly performance in July 2025, reporting total sales of 60,073 units. Domestic dispatches stood at 43,973 units, while exports contributed 16,100 units, reflecting sound international demand
SUVs powered the growth, capturing a record 71.8% share of Hyundai’s domestic sales. The Hyundai Creta, celebrating its 10-year anniversary, continues to dominate the mid-size SUV segment in India and has crossed 12 lakh units in cumulative sales, underscoring sustained consumer appeal.
Although the broader Indian auto sector showed softness—driven by weak urban demand—Hyundai’s strong SUV line-up and export strategy enabled sales resilience. Hyundai now holds a firm secondary position in India’s auto market for June–July, ahead of Tata Motors and Mahindra, with Maruti Suzuki maintaining the lead
On the export front, healthy overseas shipments bolstered Hyundai’s overall performance, aligning with the company’s ambition to grow export contribution from 21% toward 30% by March 2026
Overall, Hyundai’s July 2025 performance highlights strong SUV demand, sustained export momentum, and a successful product strategy centered on models like the Creta.
