Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has taken on the role of India’s iconic industrialist J.R.D. Tata in the forthcoming biographical series Made in India – A Titan Story. The first look was unveiled on July 29, 2025, coinciding with Tata’s 121st birth anniversary. Shah’s portrayal captures the dignity and grace of the late business magnate, donning a traditional grey suit and red tie.
The series, directed by Robby Grewal and written by Karan Vyas, is produced by Prabhleen Sandhu under Almighty Motion Picture. It chronicles the remarkable journey of vision, enterprise, and nation-building that defined J.R.D. Tata’s legacy.
Joining Shah is actor Jim Sarbh, who portrays Xerxes Desai, the pioneering founder of Titan Watch Company. The ensemble cast includes Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra, each playing pivotal roles in recreating the rise of Titan and the men and women behind its legacy.
Made in India – A Titan Story is slated for an early 2026 release and will be available for free streaming exclusively on Amazon MX Player, accessible via mobile and connected TVs, the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Airtel Xstream.
