The Indian Army has announced an Agniveer recruitment rally in Kakinada, East Godavari district, scheduled from August 4 to 20, 2025. Conducted under the Agnipath Scheme, this rally is organized by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Visakhapatnam, and invites eligible unmarried male candidates from several Andhra Pradesh districts—Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, West Godavari, East Godavari, Krishna, and Yanam (UT Puducherry)—to apply for positions like Agniveer General Duty, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, and Tradesman categories.

Candidates must complete online registration and pay the prescribed fee of ₹250. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Common Entrance Exam (CEE), followed by Physical Fitness Tests and medical screening. Admit cards will be issued one week prior, detailing the exact reporting date and rally location. Physical eligibility norms require minimum heights (generally 162–166 cm) and chest measurements (77 cm + 5 cm expansion) specific to the chosen category.

This recruitment offers a platform to join the Agniveer cadre and serve in the Indian Army for four years under the Agnipath Scheme, gaining valuable training and career prospects. Aspiring soldiers are advised to follow the official application procedures, avoid frauds, and prepare thoroughly for all stages, including the CEE, physical, and medical rounds.
