Telangana Housing Board has announced a special housing scheme for lower-income families. A total of 339 one-BHK flats will be allotted in Gachibowli (Hyderabad), Warangal and Khammam. The flats are aimed at helping people with limited income own a home in key city locations.
Interested buyers must apply by January 3. Applications can be submitted online or at MeeSeva centres. The flats will be given out through a transparent lucky draw system to make the process fair.
The flats vary in size from about 450 sq ft to 650 sq ft. Prices are lower than current market rates, making these homes affordable for eligible buyers. In Gachibowli, prices range higher due to demand, while Warangal and Khammam offer more budget options.
This scheme targets families with an annual income below ₹6 lakh. It is part of the board’s effort to increase access to affordable housing. The lucky draw dates are set for early January. This gives a rare chance to secure a home in fast-growing urban areas.
