Mahindra is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of the 3-door Thar SUV, with the official debut expected within this month. The new Thar facelift will bring a host of visual enhancements and feature upgrades while retaining its rugged off-road character that has made it a cult favorite in the Indian SUV market.

The updated model is likely to receive styling tweaks including redesigned bumpers, updated alloy wheels, and refreshed grille elements. One of the major highlights is the inclusion of a larger touchscreen infotainment system, expected to offer improved UI and better smartphone connectivity.

In addition, the facelifted Thar will feature modern LED lighting setups for headlamps, DRLs, and tail-lamps, aligning with current automotive design trends. These updates aim to enhance the overall driving and ownership experience without compromising the SUV’s go-anywhere DNA.

Mahindra may also refine the interior with better materials, new trim options, and feature-rich additions like auto climate control and rear camera improvements. Mechanically, the powertrain is expected to remain unchanged with the same reliable petrol and diesel engine options.

With this refresh, Mahindra intends to strengthen the Thar’s urban appeal while preserving its off-road credentials.
