Bharat NCX 2025, India’s flagship national cybersecurity exercise, officially commenced today with the objective of enhancing the nation’s cyber defense readiness. Inaugurated by Deputy National Security Advisor T. V. Ravichandran and Vice Chancellor Bimal N. Patel, the two-week event is organized by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU). The exercise focuses on strengthening operational preparedness in Indian cyberspace by simulating complex cyberattack scenarios. Participants, including government agencies, critical infrastructure operators, defense sectors, and private enterprises, will engage in various training sessions and exercises to assess and improve their incident response capabilities. The initiative underscores India’s commitment to fortifying its digital infrastructure and ensuring resilience against evolving cyber threats. By fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, Bharat NCX 2025 aims to build a robust cybersecurity ecosystem that safeguards national interests and supports the nation’s digital sovereignty.
