Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT), one of the core trusts under the Tata Trusts umbrella, has welcomed two significant appointments. Neville Tata, the 32-year-old son of chairman Noel Tata, joins the board of trustees for a three-year tenure starting 12 November 2025. Alongside him is industry stalwart Bhaskar Bhat, bringing decades of experience in the Tata ecosystem. Both were approved unanimously at a recent meeting.
In addition, SDTT revised the term of existing trustee Venu Srinivasan from a lifetime appointment to a fixed three-year term, in line with updated regulatory norms. These changes mark a strategic refresh for the trust’s governance.
Neville Tata, already serving on several Tata trust boards, now takes on a more central role within SDTT, reflecting a generational transition and expanding his influence in the Tata philanthropic world. Bhaskar Bhat’s induction adds seasoned leadership to the board.
