Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), a leading Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has expanded globally by launching its first international assembly plant in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), Dubai. This milestone marks the company’s entry into the global EV market with a $25 million investment over five years.

Spanning over 42,000 square feet, the Dubai facility will serve as a hub for assembling electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, while also handling component storage and distribution across the Middle East and Africa. The plant aims to accelerate clean mobility adoption in these regions and positions OSM as a key player in international EV infrastructure development.

The facility will support the assembly of OSM’s popular electric vehicle models, including the Rage+ cargo three-wheeler, designed for last-mile delivery, and the Stream passenger three-wheeler, suited for shared urban mobility. This move is part of OSM’s broader vision to promote sustainable transport, reduce carbon emissions, and provide affordable electric mobility solutions to emerging markets.

By establishing this facility in Dubai, OSM not only gains strategic access to key global markets but also demonstrates India’s rising influence in the electric vehicle manufacturing sector on the world stage.
