PVR INOX has unveiled India’s first luxury dine‑in cinema at M5 ECity Mall in Bengaluru. The new format lets moviegoers enjoy chef‑curated meals served to their seats while watching films. This concept combines cinema with fine dining to offer a richer entertainment experience.
The multiplex has eight screens and over 1,200 seats. Inside, guests can choose from nine in‑house F&B brands like Crosta (artisanal pizzas), Steamestry (steamed dishes), Wokstar (Asian stir‑fry), Cine Café (coffee & snacks), Dogfather (hot dogs), Frytopia (fried food), In‑Between (wraps & bowls), Local Street (regional cuisine), and the Dine‑In format itself.
Meanwhile, every theatre is equipped with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby 7.1, and 4K Laser projection. The Big Pix auditorium also supports RealD 3D and is engineered for high visual impact.
PVR INOX says this format transforms cinema into a “lifestyle destination,” where viewers don’t need to leave their seats for food or breaks. The company calls this a new era in moviegoing.
