Hyderabad’s Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group has opened a new defence innovation and manufacturing facility at Hardware Park near the international airport. The deeptech campus covers about 25,000 square feet and is backed by more than ₹100 crore in investment. This new site will bring together design, integration, and production under one roof for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), engines, and autonomous defence systems.
At the launch event, the company revealed six new indigenous defence products. These include jet-powered loitering munitions, decoy and target drones, tethered surveillance drones, air-based missile launchers, micro-turbojet engines, long-endurance kamikaze UAVs, autonomous ground vehicles (UGVs), and robotic aircraft support solutions. The systems work across surveillance, deep strike, battlefield logistics, and mission support roles, and can operate over long ranges with fast speeds.
The facility will also strengthen production capabilities and support India’s strategic defence programmes and global customers. Raghu Vamsi aims to boost scalable manufacturing, faster turnaround times, and development of next-generation autonomous hardware. Company leadership emphasized that these technologies are designed and built entirely in India, contributing to Atmanirbhar Bharat and expanding the nation’s high-tech defence ecosystem.
