Reliance Jio has unveiled JioPC, India’s first AI-ready cloud computer, offering “PC-as-a-service” on a subscription-based model starting at ₹400‑₹600 per month, with zero hardware costs or lock-ins. Designed for JioFiber and Jio AirFiber users, the service enables any television to become a fully functional computer via a Jio set-top box, along with a keyboard and mouse .
JioPC delivers 8 GB RAM equivalent performance, 100 GB cloud storage (expandable up to 512 GB on trial or annual plans), integrated AI tools, Adobe Express access, Jio Workspace, and Microsoft Office (browser version). It also ensures instant boot-up, automatic updates, and network-level security against malware and viruses—all without physical degradation or maintenance hassle.
Aimed at India’s burgeoning digital economy, JioPC targets solopreneurs, students, side hustlers, small businesses, and households lacking traditional PCs. With no ownership burden and flexible pricing plans—including ₹599 for one month, up to ₹4,599 for 12‑month plans—the platform democratizes access to high-end computing across India .
This launch marks a major stride in AI-enabled cloud computing, aligning with Jio’s broader push into tools such as JioBrain and partnerships with Adobe, Nvidia, and others. By removing hardware barriers, JioPC positions India’s TV-equipped homes at the forefront of digital inclusion and AI-powered productivity
