Veteran actor Prakash Raj has firmly denied recent rumours that he left the much-anticipated film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Prabhas. The speculation began circulating online after unverified reports claimed Raj exited the project due to a disagreement with the director.
Responding to the buzz on social media, Prakash Raj took to X and called the claims “fake news” and “nonsense speculation.” He pointed out that he has not even started shooting his portions yet, making the rumours of his exit unfounded. In a sharply worded message, he told those spreading misinformation to “grow up and have a life,” dismissing the reports as baseless.
The film Spirit has gained major attention since its announcement due to its star cast and the success of director Vanga’s past work. Apart from Prabhas, who plays a central role, the project also features Triptii Dimri and Vivek Oberoi in key roles. Earlier reports had noted Deepika Padukone’s exit from the project, after which Triptii Dimri was brought on board.
Prakash Raj’s clarification aims to put the rumours to rest and reassure fans that he remains part of the high-profile film. Spirit continues to build anticipation as one of the most talked-about upcoming releases in Indian cinema.
