The Government of Telangana is set to close the Telangana Rising Global Summit on 9 December with a spectacular drone show. Around 3,000 LED-equipped drones will light up the sky over Bharat Future City, aiming to set a new global record for the longest aerial message. The sky will spell out the words: “Telangana is Rising. Come, Join the Rise.” This will surpass the current record of 2,131 drones used in similar displays.
The event is more than just a light show — it’s a bold statement of Telangana’s ambition. The drone display comes as part of a broader push to showcase the state’s development vision, including urban-rural growth, infrastructure, and investment opportunities. The summit will attract global investors, business leaders, and dignitaries, with the state government presenting a roadmap for economic growth under the Telangana Rising 2047 vision.
Extensive arrangements are underway: a large venue spanning 100 acres, security deployment with over 2,500 police personnel, and infrastructure for VIPs and guests. Once the drones take off, the sky will become a canvas proclaiming Telangana’s rise — a vivid call to join the growth story.
