Hyundai Motor India is set to commence deliveries of the next-generation Hyundai Venue SUV in October 2025, marking a significant production milestone from its newly revitalized Talegaon plant in Maharashtra. The plant, formerly owned by General Motors, was acquired by Hyundai and has undergone major upgrades following a ₹11,000 crore investment aimed at boosting local manufacturing and EV readiness.
The next-gen Hyundai Venue is expected to sport a refreshed design, advanced connectivity features, and improved fuel efficiency—keeping it competitive in India’s highly dynamic compact SUV market. The Venue has long been a strong performer in its segment, and the upcoming iteration aims to elevate Hyundai’s share with premium upgrades and stronger value proposition.
The Talegaon plant will play a central role in Hyundai’s expansion strategy, with a focus on increasing production capacity and reducing lead times. This move also supports Hyundai’s “Make in India” vision while reinforcing supply chains domestically.
With rising competition from Tata, Maruti, and Mahindra, Hyundai’s aggressive investment and product rollout strategy, led by the new Venue, showcases its long-term commitment to the Indian auto market.
