On July 30, 2025, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met with General Secretary Tô Lâm of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hà Nội, hailing Vietnam’s ambitious reforms aimed at developing it into a regional leader in energy, logistics, ports, and aviation. Adani lauded Tô Lâm’s strategic foresight and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting Vietnam’s growth through strategic investment and enhanced India–Vietnam economic cooperation.
Vietnam’s leadership highlighted the strength of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with India. Tô Lâm emphasized both nations’ shared goal of emerging as modern, developed economies by their centenary anniversaries—Vietnam in 2045 and India in 2047. He underlined Vietnam’s push for private sector-led growth, digital transformation, and innovation, while reaffirming the government’s readiness to offer favorable conditions for foreign investors, including the Adani Group.
Adani shared the Group’s vision of contributing to Vietnam’s socio-economic development by leveraging its strengths across ports, renewable energy, aviation infrastructure, logistics, and digital technology. With intentions to explore investments of up to US $10 billion, the conglomerate aims to deploy clean technologies and modern management across strategic sectors.
This high-level meeting marks a step forward in India–Vietnam economic ties, and underscores the Adani Group’s interest in playing a pivotal role in Vietnam’s ambitious infrastructure and industrial transformation.
