“Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies,” a pioneering WWE‑style Malayalam action comedy, is poised for a global launch in over 100 countries. Backed by a high‑value international distribution deal between Reel World Entertainment and The Plot Pictures, this unique Malayalam wrestling film will reach markets including the U.S., the U.K., U.A.E., Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Germany.
Set against the gritty backdrop of Fort Kochi, Chatha Pacha revolves around an underground wrestling club where a ragtag crew of misfits embrace WWE‑inspired personas. The film is led by performers Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Mathew, with supporting roles from Vishak Nair and Ishan Shoukath. Directed by debutant Adhvaith Nayar (nephew of Mohanlal), the screenplay and dialogues are penned by Sanoop Thykoodam.
Notably, Bollywood’s celebrated composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy makes their Malayalam debut with the film’s songs; Mujeeb Majeed scores the background music. The technical team includes cinematographer Anend C Chandran, stunt choreographer Kalai Kingson, editor Praveen Prabhakar, and lyricist Vinayak Sasikumar.
