Brigade Hotel Ventures (BHVL), a subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises, is accelerating its expansion across South India by securing a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Marriott India. This agreement will see two Fairfield by Marriott hotels developed—one located near Bengaluru Airport and another in Hosur. These additions are earmarked for completion by fiscal year 2028, aligning with BHVL’s strategic focus on high-demand urban and transit zones.
This collaboration is a key component in a broader roll-out that includes five new hotels across Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Vaikom. Among these are three luxury hotels—the Intercontinental Hyderabad at Brigade Neopolis, the Grand Hyatt Resort on Chennai’s East Coast Road, and a lavish resort on Vaikom Island, Kerala—all slated for management by global hotel brands. A non-binding term sheet is already in place with Hyatt for the Chennai property.
With these developments, BHVL forecasts an expansion of its total room inventory to 2,600 keys by FY29. The timeline targets operational launch of the Chennai luxury resort and the two Bengaluru Marriott properties by FY28, while the remaining luxury projects in Hyderabad and Kerala are scheduled for completion by FY29. This ambitious growth accelerates BHVL’s journey to becoming a top-tier hospitality developer in South India.
